The year is 2016 December
Most of the world has heard of the famous great barrier reef. it is located in Australia Queensland and stretches 1400 miles! But sadly the great barrier reef is dying and people are trying to go around Queensland and getting people to help protect the reef. This is Nick Gardener who is a student at Glenridge elementary St.Louis MO. He says" I always wanted to swim at the great barrier reef but sadly I might not get to if the reef dies."
And also a lot more people want to swim at the coral reef so there are very big lines every day to take people out to the reef also it takes a very long time to even get to the reef. And staff get a fair decent amount of money to get out to the reef. Some more news from Terry Hughes hey that rimes :) " When will we stop pretending =2 degrees Celsius is safe for the reef when +1 degrees Celsius is polluting 93% of I?!
